On Saturday Auckland had it's first ever, Diner En Blanc and it was the most amazing experience! Though I must say, the affair was truly enhanced as I was lucky enough to be invited and hosted by my favorite Mumm Champagne, who was one of Diner en Blanc's principle sponsors. Our night started by meeting at one of Auckland's luxury hotels, Sofitel and then jumping on a coach bus which drove us to our secret location for the fanciest pop up picnic in New Zealand.
I love the element of surprise, and this was just that as we were driven around the block just to end up next door to where we started! The secret location was the large concrete outdoor area outside of the Viaduct Events Center. The sea of guests in white was very looked beautiful. There is something quite special about everyone making an effort with their chosen outfits. The women had a mix of beautiful maxi dresses/skirts styled with feather boleros, to the cute cocktail white dress accessorised with pearls. The men also looked very dapper with their white chino pants and white crisp shirts, mixing and matching white on white.
The music played from the time we arrived and we listened to the songbird, Lisa Crawley who flew from Melbourne as we dined with a hampers of gourmet surprises from Mint Kitchen Catering. DJ Jordan Arts then followed up with cool music to dance the night away.

The night was just brilliant and it was, hand on heart one of the best events I have ever been to! I really can't wait for the next one! This was one night to remember, keep yourself updated for the next Diner En Blanc on their Auckland Facebook Page, https://www.facebook.com/DinerEnBlanc.
I'm inspired to have my own pink party soon!
Much love, Natalie Chan xxx
